How Fenestra credits work and how they are consumed.
Every action in Fenestra uses credits. Your plan determines how many credits you receive each month, and each tool consumes a different amount depending on the model and task.
How credits work
Credits are deducted each time you generate an image, enhance a render or create a video. The exact cost depends on the model you choose and is always visible in the prompt bar before you hit generate, so there are no surprises.
Each model has a different credit cost. Some models use as little as 1 credit per generation, while others can use 10 or more. The exact cost is always displayed in the prompt bar before you send your render, so you can make an informed choice before spending credits.

Monthly reset
Credits reset at the start of each billing cycle. Unused credits do not roll over to the next month.
Checking your balance
Your current credit balance is visible from your profile icon in the top right of the dashboard and in the prompt bar while working in Fenestra Studio.
Need more credits?
You can upgrade your plan at any time from Account Settings or the pricing page. Upgrades take effect immediately and you'll receive the new plan's credits straight away.
Students can email shaun@fenestra.dev from a student email address to receive a discount code.
