Forget Photoreal renderings. Create Sketches!
Photorealistic renders aren’t always right for early-stage design. With Fenestra, you can use AI to turn renders and models into loose pencil sketches.

January 5, 2026Photoreal renderings aren’t always the answer.
In early design stages, they often overwhelm clients rather than help them say yes.
With Fenestra, you can use AI to create sketches, illustrations, and loose conceptual visuals that communicate intent without locking a project in too early.
This is one of the quickest and most effective ways to get client buy-in before a design is finalised.
Step 1: Upload your image & choose Add Anything
Upload your project image and select Add Anything.
This workflow lets you add reference images to guide style using Flux 2 Pro or Nano Banana Pro.
I generally prefer Flux 2 Pro for stylised work as it has a stronger understanding of visual language, but Nano Banana and Nano Banana Pro can also produce great results. Test both and see what fits your style.
Step 2: Add a style reference image
Add an image that represents the style you want to achieve - in this case, a loose pencil sketch.
Use a prompt like this:
"Create a loose pencil sketch on a white background. Keep the drawing simple with loose lines and hatching to articulate the main elements of the scene. Maintain the original camera perspective and use the sketch as a reference for the style."
Step 3: Click Edit
That’s it.
Fenestra will convert your rendering into a sketch-style visual that’s perfect for early design reviews and client conversations.
