Most architectural visuals don’t need starting over - they need quick editing!

Editing images in Fenestra is as simple as describing the change you want. On top of conversational prompts, we’ve added focused workflows that make it easy to control camera angles, maintain visual consistency, illustrate concepts, and animate sequences.

This walkthrough shows how to:

  • Edit a project from a single starting image
  • Generate multiple camera views
  • Convert results into illustrations
  • Animate between illustrated frames

Let’s get started.

1) Upload Your Project Image & Use Conversational Edit

Most image editing in Fenestra happens through simple prompts.

For best editing results, use:

  • Nano Banana
  • Flux 2 Pro
  • Nano Banana Pro

Upload your image and select Conversational Edit, then describe the change you want.

Example prompt:

“Zoom out to show more of the surroundings”

This produces a new version of your image while preserving the original design intent.

2) Generate New Views with Camera Controls

Next, switch to the Camera Controls workflow to create additional perspectives from your edited image.

To create an aerial or top-down view:

  • Set Tilt = 1
  • Keep the previous result visible in the canvas
  • Render to generate a new camera angle

This lets you derive multiple coherent views from a single source image, without re-prompting the entire scene.

3) Convert Images into Illustrations

Now we’ll turn the generated views into illustrations.

Select the Illustrate workflow:

  • Make sure the image you want to illustrate is visible in the canvas
  • Click Edit
  • No prompt is required

What you see in the canvas is exactly what the AI uses.

Optional prompts can be added if needed, for example:

“Night-time scene”

Illustrated daytime sci-fi cityscape with concrete building and flying spaceships
Illustrated aerial view of futuristic city buildings and flying ships
Illustrated night scene of futuristic city with lit windows and starry sky

4) Animate Between Illustrated Views

Finally, bring the project to life with animation.

  • Select Animate → Cinematic
  • By default, Seedance 1.0 Lite is selected
  • Your Start Frame is whatever is currently visible in the canvas
  • Upload or drag in your Last Frame

For best results:

  • Use images with the same aspect ratio
  • Animate between closely related views (for smoother motion)

This allows you to blend between illustrated perspectives and create compelling cinematic sequences.
